No juice.....

Finally got the fluids in and all the connections made on my 383 install.......but no juice.
Sounds like a VATS problem. Everthing works, ....EXCEPT, the starter does not engage, and no turnover, that is why I think it VATS!! BUT, the security light does NOT come on!!!

I had the new ECM programmed for VATS.
Do I need to bypass?
Could it be something else?

I have had this car on jackstands for a year, I am so damn close.....need all the input I can!!!

And YES.....I DID A SEARCH...... that is why I need help....wierd situation with no security light.

NO...not yet.

Now I have found out that there is no juice to the fuel tank, either!!!

I ran a wire straight from the battery to the starter solenoid....cranks and cranks...so I turned the key on....no fuel...this is how I came to check the fuel sending unit....kinda weird...

Might just start bypassin/splicing until the car runs....

I have an aftermarket alarm (Python)....not sure if that is blockin stuff.....

You may want to start lookin at other areas...too

I had a similar problem in my 87. Took me a week to figure it out. Turned out that the yellow ignition wire under my dash that goes to the neutral saftey switch was cut because of the old alarm that i removed and i never respliced it. All the accessories worked but the engine wouldn't crank, i didn't hear the fuel pump turn on either. If your alarm has starter kill or remote start it'd be worth checking out.

finally....

Got the electric issues out of the way....

found a wire under the dash that will do the job for the starter, and found a straight positve lead that I seemed to have missed (little "prong" looking thing on the rad support right near the battery).

But now I cracked the case on the starter....here we go again....
