Voltage Regulator

I have updated my car with a serpentine set-up and accesories from a 92 camaro. The alternator was rebuilt by a reputable shop to the 140 amp level. When the car starts, the voltage reads about 14.4, but as it warms up the voltage drops to 13.5. I was told that the voltage regulator in the CS130 alternators was temperature sensitive and this was normal. Does anyone know if there are other regulators available? or is this normal and perfectly acceptable. I would like the fans to have full voltage to try to keep the car cool this summer.

The car has been re-wired accorting to the New System as promoted by MAD Enterprises, www.madelectrical.com.
