I almost got done putting my deck in but i ran into a problem! I have 2 wires that i don't know what they go to! I have a orange one with a white stripe that says dimmer (12Vt) and it is coming out of the harness. I also have a blue one with a white stripe that says Amp Rem max 0.3A and is comeing out of the deck. There is power to the deck but no sound!! Help???

 

You don't need to hook up the dimmer wire. I'm not sure what the blue wire does, but it sounds like it's the amp remote turn on wire. They are usually labeled electric antenna or something like that. I think your probablem might be somewhere else. Is this a new radio? Did you hook the speaker wires up right? Is there no noise or just static?

 

When i turn it on it makes no noise at all not even static. The deck was halfway installed when i got the car he said there was one thing that needed to be hooked up. Would it not work if one of the speakers was disconected?

 

No, all the speakers would have to be disconnected. Does it go through like it's trying to play the song? Double check all the wiring in the harness, to make sure everything is hooked up correctly.

 

When i turn the radio looks like it is on but there is no sound?
