i removed the entire ECM harness on pass side of car today, was very straightforward - to my surprise the ECM was already missing from car-

but still have the ALDL connector underdash near column, five wires run to/from it:
they are tan black brown white and yellow, some have black narrow stripes, where do these go other than the black wire and is this easily removable without cutting any wiring ? do the wires stay in dash area of car or do they go into engine compartment ?

I'm pretty sure one goes to the computer and i know another goes to the fuel pump relay, one is ground. Not sure where the others go.

 

this 82 is mechanical pump and computer and harness is removed, so hmm...

the wires at the ALDL connector all must have their own small ECM connector plug then ?>
