im driving a pontiac grand am (se 3.1 v6) while my bird is getting some plastic sergery done.
i came home from vacation and went to pay some bills, i pull up to my first light and i started to hear a ticking noise when i accelerated it when away (it only did that once). i did some stuff and got some gas, went to start it and it would turn over fine but would'nt start, i let it sit for about 45 min.s and tryed again and got it. eversince it's been giveing me a little starting problems.
my car has been parked in hot *** vegas for 3 1/2 days while i was on vacation elsewhere.
sorry it's not a thirgen post but i need your guys opinion.
is it the starter? camshaft sencer? crankshaft sencer? coil?

 

i was driving home today when it started to overheat, i turned of the a/c and on the heater and kept driveing the temp droped a little before the red line. it took a while of driveing before it started to overheat. please help...
