Got my LED's today...need help figuring out the volts and amps
The only info provided with them is that the voltage is 3.6-6 volts. Is there any way to test them with a meter for the actual voltage and the amperage they use?

Typically, LED forward current draw is around 20-30mA.
You can put your DMM in the diode test mode, and the number display when you meter the LED in the forward direction should be the voltage drop...
I have a small write-up regarding LED wiring and whatnot...

and click "Lighting with LEDs: A tutorial." Hope it helps some...

Well I'm almost done with the swap. I only had 20 LED's so I did 9 of the bulbs with dual and 2 with single. Only problem is I must have screwed up two of the sockets because I fried two bulbs. I'm going to have to try and find some tomorrow but I don't think I'll be able to find 10,000 mcd....maybe I can find some 5,000's and use 4 per socket or something.
Also how much of a difference does it make when you paint the back of that panel gloss white and also put the black plastic piece back on that covers the gauges??
Right now mine don't look so great considering that there are 2 10,000 mcd lights in most of the sockets.
