My car broke down in my driveway. How convenient Ran fine when I pulled in, but now when I try to start it, she turns over strong, pumps fuel, NO SPARK.
I tested batt: 12.7V
Tested "BAT" at dist: 12.7V
Removed Module and tested: NFG
Replaced w/AC Delco: STILL NO_SPARK

What else can I test.
I own a DVM, how do I test

hook test light up to ground and touch the negative side of the coil and crank it over and see if the light blinks (it should flash).

you need to find out if its your primary or secondary ignition that is failing. find out if there is spark coming directly from the coil.
if not then its your primary ignition which consists of battery ignition switch, ballast resistor, primary windings of coil, switching device (points or pickup for HEI), and condensor.

do u have voltage at the pos side of coil?
