no dash lights, tail lights, or fog lights

I was driving home tonight and the dash lights went out so i turned the headlight switch on and off and they came back on, a little later they went out again so i tried the same thing and now nothing. The headlights work as usual but the dash lights, air condition lights, tail lights and fog lights arent working. The tail lights only work when mashed down on the pedal. I checked the fuse box and all fuses are good. Anyone had the same problem before, any help would be appreciated.

got it fixed

i didnt get any replies so i started where i thought i should,i took all the dash panels off where i could get to the switches, they appeared to be fine, no burnt wires, i had checked all the fuses earlier and all were fine,so i removed the inside dimmer control and then the headlight switch. Lucky for me i had bought a parts car a year ago and still had the ones in it so i got them out of the parts car and tried the dimmer switch with no luck then i put in the headlight switch and shure enough that was the problem. I thought for shure i was going to have to chase down a ground wire or some burnt wires somewhere. Now that i think back the problem started about a month ago when i turned on the headlights it would sometimes take a minute for them to come up but soon that stopped and then my inside dash lights ,fog lights, and tail lights went out, but my headlights still worked and all my guages worked and the tail lights would work when mashed.so if anyone has the same problem maybe this would help you to know where to start.
