i have an '89 f-bird that has the motor trunk release and i want to install a trunk release button.

does anyone have instructions or can you tell me how to hook up a button.. where do i run it to on the motor.

 

the motor should have 2 wires on it, might be 1, anyways

there should be a positive wire, and a negitive wire, the negitive wire u can ground to the body thru one of the screws or such, the positive wire connects to a relay which is triggered by the momentary button in the console up front, when u press the button it closes the relay which trips the trunk motor
