Wiring diagram
The only wiring diagram I have is from the Haynes manual, and if any of you have ever used this piece of 
, you'll know that the information is incomplete at best!
If anyone can give me a description of the wiring from the ignition switch, which wires go where, I would really appreciate it. My car is sitting in a lot, 20 miles from home, with a broken ignition switch, and I desperately need to start it.
It's a 1986 camaro, 2.8L v6. I had replaced the steering wheel, and f---ed it up by not using a proper puller. The tele-steering was all loose (got that fixed!!
) but the linkage from the actual ignition switch to the electrical block is caput.
All I want to do is hotwire my car so I can get it home

Yeah buddy, I have an electrical troubleshooting manual for the '86. Send me a direct e-mail to: georgeandromeo@aol with the subject line "ignition switch wiring" and I will gladly e-mail you the diagrams. No problem. I check my e-mail several times a day so i can respond fairly quickly. Mike M
