Taking out computer&harness
Is there any special way to take out a computer in my 82 TA, along with the harness? Do I get in there through under the fender?? Or through the side vent???

ok this is a dumb question for you...i dont blame you for wanting to take out the computer but why take it out? are you replacing it? or taking it out for good?it can be a PITA but at least it tells you what to look for instead of you replacing parts that doesnt need replaced....j/w

remove the plastic inner fenderwell and you will have easy access to the rubber grommet that the harness is in .also, remove the right kickpanel for interior side of grommet.good luck!

Also, popping out the fender vent gives you a little more access for pulling out the harness.
Should take no longer than 20 minutes to completely remove the harness and ECM.
