New blower motor, now no HIGH
Hey ya'll.. I just replaced the blower motor in my '89 IROC. I wasn't getting any air blowing before thru my vents when it was seto low, med or high. No at least I am getting air blowing when it is set to low or medium, but not in HIGH.
Do you think that the bad motor put too much of a load on the resistor pack and caused the one for HIGH to fry?
Just asking if this could be the cause before I drop a few bucks unnecessarily on this part. Also, if this could be the part I need, do you have the GM part#?

On my car, in Hi, a relay bypasses the resistor pack giving the fan motor full +12 voltage. Don't bother with the resistor pack.
the relay should be right around the a/c box, it branches out around the resistor pack on the a/c box itself.

u can barely can see the relay in the pic, but its right next to the blower motor on the right.

yeah its the little black rectangluar thing, which has male connectors once you pull it from the female wiring harness connector.
pull one of your relays, say from the electric fan curcuit to make possibly route out the relay itself.
