My driver side window only works about half way..It will go up or down half way and then will stop. If you give it 10 minutes or so it will go the rest of the way but i would like to be able to put it up and down when i like. Does anyone know if it is the wires or would it be the motor? I havent had the time to take it apart to find out. I would like some info on what someone thinks

 

If the window binds and the motor overheats as a consequence, the motor will shut down until it's cool. Check the simple first and adjust the window guides at the top of the door (after you remove the door panel and so forth).
