everytime i turn on my headlights they go up as usual no problem.. but when it comes to turning them off they wont go back down. i dont think its the motors bc they go up without a problem. anyone know what it could be?

 

The switch. The switch you're pushing in your dashboard is probably bad. See if you can find a schematic for the lights and hotwire the switch to see if the lights go down. Or jiggle and push on the switch for like 10 minutes and see if they go down....Then replace the switch. It gets old, doesnt make good contact, will still turn the lights off but not allways make the lights go down.
