wont run! im in over my head some one please help!

ok this is my delma. i bought an 84 S-10 with an 88 firebird engine, wiring harness, computer and transmission swaped into them. when the guy did the swap he didnt wire up the ALDL conncetor so i cant scan the truck for codes. he also didnt hook up the oil pressure switch for my fuel pump.

ok now the problem. last thursday i tried to start my truck and it woulnt start. when i start it i let the pump prime for the 2 seconds then i start. i turned the key and my pump primed for about a second then i heard click. i was like hummm this isnt good. so i got out poped the hood and i tried jumping the connector for my oil pressure switch. now when i do this my fuel pump should go on....it didnt. so i left it there (at work) over night and i was going to come back the next day and fix it. i get there the next day and fir giggles and grins i tried strting it. fired right up. drove it home no problem. the next morning i tried to start it and nothing happened again. this time my relay was clicking on and off really fast. didnt stop till i truned off the key. so i though it was a bad relay.

i bought a new relay and that did nothing. thus bringin me to my next problem. there is an inline fuse some where in the circut that i cant find. i know it's under my dash i just cant find it. the fuse is for my fuel pump and fuel system. i know it's not my fuel pump cause when i put power directly to it the pump turns on the pump is only 6 months old too. when i apply power directly to the relay i hear the relay clicks on. i tried to just hooking up a switch fromy my fuel pump to something that comes on with my ignition on. now when i turn the key the fuel pump comes on. the truck will start for like maybe a half a second then die. i have to throttle responce either....when i step on the gas for that hlf second nothing happens.

im out of ideas some one please help me. what should i do now. where should i start.
