switched hot wire

I'm looking to find a switched wire (ignition on) for my electric fan, so its gotta be around 14 or 12 gauge....I dont really feel like splicing into anything and I dont have a schematic, any suggestions?

Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
1) Use a relay and run a fused power wire directly from the battery.
2) Tap into one of the IGN spots on the fuse panel for a switched power supply to operate the relay.
3) Use a relay.
