I am thinking of buying a firebird (85) and it does not have the full set of guages. It has a bunch of dumy lights instead of the oil pressure and battery. and however else they did it. I am curious how easy it is to change to full instrument cluster.
is it simple as chage the sensors on the engine and swap the cluster with a full set version?
or do i need to change other things like the computer or wireing harness?

 

Assuming the 85 and 84 are wired the same you will have to rewire the dash harness for the gauges to work and get a few new sensors
