IIRC, theres a oil pressure sensor near the back of the engine near the distributor.
I'm not sure exactly what it looks like. I think its cylindrical with some wiring coming off. I hear its a pain to change Someone else help me out here so I dont lead him in the wrong direction.
Hope this helps some.

He is right its the sending unit, there are two, they are both right around the oil filter. I got a v-6 but it should be close even if its an 8, on mine i had two, one that was small that had a single wire connection, then a larger more like a filter looking thing, with a one wire connection and a metal spade comming out of the sensor. Both sensors will run around $15 each, and when changing them luckally you wont have to worry about too much oil comming out, because the pump wont be running.
BTW the larger filter looking one broke on me, there is a spot to grab it by the spade, then there is another area closer to the block you will probly have to get under the car to change both to make it easyer on your self.
Sorry i couldnt find any pictures to show you exactly where it is, but its on the driver side of the block, lower half, v-6ers have it mounted right around the oil filter.
