blower motor

okay here is the deal one day my blower motor went out so i changed the motor but now ever since then whenever i try to use the 'hi' it just turns off. i have the low setting then the two fan settings but as soon as i turn it to high it is like i turn it off....is this a motor with only 3 speeds??, is my actual switch in the dash bad??, or is there a relay or somethin i dont know about?? thanks for the help.

Try replacing the heater relay. It should be mounted right on the heater/AC housing inside the engine compartment. It's cheap enough to replace before pulling out the voltage meter and wasting time checking all your heater system circuits !

also... my motor squeels when i just turn it on ...its new and stuff so i dunno what the deal is ....anybody got any ideas?..or had this problem..??
