i hooked my cd player in my car today and now my door locks and hatch button wont work. they worked fine before i put in the stereo. we didnt cut anything other then what was hooked up to the stereo. is it possible that the power for those things run through the stereo itself?

 

it is possible u blew the accessory fuse i think it is, that the pwr doors and hatch go thru, check that

 

But it also powers the stereo, assuming he hooked it up to the stock raido wiring.

 

well i checked the fuses last night again and the acc one was blown. but the radio still worked. im gonna put a new fuse in today cuz i didnt have any extras. hopefully thats all it is.

 

what did you wire your stereo power to? If you used the factory wiring it should not have been working either with that fuse blown. If it blows that fuse again, look at how you wired the stereo.
