1984 Berlinetta Wipers

I've got the digital camaro and my wipers don't work right. When I push the button to turn them on they short cycle back and forth in the parked position. When I got the car it didn't have a motor and I have deleted a lot of the wiring (pollution control and sesors etc.) so I might be missing something? Is there supposed to be a plug hooking to the three pronged control box connector on the washer pump? Mine doesn't have any.Chevy dealership wants $245.00 for a new Control Box , hate to throw expensive parts at it without knowing if that's the problem.Thanks.

245.00? that doesnt seem right..I would say to ask someone who knows what youll need, how to do it, and save some trouble first. Then try to find the parts you need at a local auto parts store. Good luck. Ive got a problem with my wipers too. However it should be fixed 2-morrow. A friend installed a heater core and knocked something loose.

Control Box

The box right above the motor for the wipers. It's model specific to Berlinettas 84-86 and expensive.

There is a Berlinetta expert on the board. Look for John in RI. He also has a website berlinetta.info . He can answer a lot of questions and he may have the part you need for sale. He has helped me quite a bit.
