No instrument lights

Bought an 88 Formula that runs great, but none of the instrument lights work. All other lights work (dome light, car lights) but the guages, shifter (auto),and AC controls have no lights. All fuses appear to be good.Any ideas?

If the gage (5A) and tail (20A) fuse is truelly good. Using a multimeter, test at the gage fuse (pulled) with the park lamps on. You should see +12v at one side or the other of the fuse terminal. If you don't, power isn't making it from the headlamp switch to the fuse panel.
Either the circuit leading to the fuse is bad or the switch itself is cooked.
If there is power at the fuse, the outgoing curcuit to all your gauge lights is bad. From there, it's a matter of digging in the wiring to find the fault..
