What should my volt gauge read?

Transmission: Turbo 350, w/shift kit
What should my volt gauge read?

Im curious what my volt gauge should read with the car off but the key on? Mine is quiet a bit below 13, but once i start it, it jumps up to just below 13, THEN when i get driving it goes above 13 and stays, that ok? Thanks

that sounds about right...
