want to rip out ecu wires
I want to rip out the ecu from my car because i did a tbi to carb coversion. I heard that all the emision regulation wires are on the driver side of the the car and all the other electrical items such as the horn, lights, radio, heater, ect is on the driver side. B4 i do anything stupid i just want to verify that i will not run into any problems ripping out the ecu wire comming out of the fire wall on the driver side. Any help would be good thank you.

You'll most likely need a VSS box from a 'bird if you yank the ECM, the speedo's vss buffer is built into it.
Other than that, the ECM and related wiring (comming from the pass side rear corner next to the blower motor) can be removed from the car without causing problems to the rest of the functions.
I don't know what problem VATS would be after the ECM is removed (I'd guess none if you rewired the starter like a non vats car). Someone who knows about that would have to chime in to help you there.
