My speedometer and odometer just stopped working. I heard that the speedometer/odometer cable may be the problem but I can only find information on pre-90's camaros having these cables. I have a 92. Am I looking in the wrong place or are they controlled by something other than a cable after 90? If you could point me in the right direction(possibly a link that sells the part I need) that would be awesome.

 

Your car has a VSS sender mounted at the transmission where the cable unit went on older models. Do you have a "service engine" light, normally when the VSS fails the ECM will throw a trouble code. If there is no code I would suspect the speedo unit itself.
