hatch motor

hatch motor

Hey all, I had to replace the housing and guides, and when i put it back in the motor works but doesn't sense the hatch. Also the motor gets hot like its all ways getting power. I need your help.

Are you sure you put it back together right? With the switch on it in the right position? If the switch is right, then there is another switch in the latch, it is up near the top where the latch loop on the hatch trips it when you close it. Look at the top of the latch, there should be a little black lever switch, push it down and see if the hatch motor runs.

it doesn't run then. I can put it down and the hatch is held but it won't pull it all the way down.
