Need Help with Wiring Harness Conversion
I am in the middle of completely re-wiring my 88 Trans Am GTA. All of the stock electrical harnesses have been removed. I am using a Painless Wiring 18 circuit harness to re-wire the entire car. I want to utilize all connections from the original harness/es that I can, such as dome light, headlight switch, fog lamp switch, rear taillights/marker lights, etc. What I am looking for is a schematic diagram so I can determine which wires to cut and splice from the original harness/es. Anyone have any ideas or know where I can get a schematic (with wire colors/numbers) without buying a complete service manual? Any and all help is appreciated.

I bought the factory service manual and considering the age of the cars it is worth every cent.
If I had a scanner I would post it for you but you might be able to refer to the schematics on this site for the 86 F body I think the wiring remained pretty much the same for 3rd gens chassis and what minor changes wouldnt be hard to figure out. Just dont refer to those for the engine/ECM side.
