Engine: Carbed 305 v8
Transmission: 700r4
need help installing a tach on 84 Z
Hey guys i have a 84 305v8 carbed i'm adding a tach and i need the negative ground wire from the coil, but i dont have my hanes manua so i dont know which one it is, could some one give me a hand thanks alot.

Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter
Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11
let's see here......this is off my autometer tach with shift light wiring:
autometer wires.....
red
black
white
green
hook up to:
red.....12 volt positive ignition on source
black.....good engine ground....i ran mine to the battery for best signal
white......aux. light tap into any B+ signal when headlights are turned on
green......tach signal wire....this is the white one coming off the distributor.
