Re: Camaro hatch motor

I see this is OLD (2004), but will the 86-91 pull-down assemblies mount on the '92 cars and function properly? I see the left-most mounting hole is a little different on the two assemblies, but were the trunks provisioned to take either type of hatch motor assembly?

Not without modification. You'll need to cut tge body mount for the pull-down out of a doner car and weld it in place of the current one in your car. You'll also need to rewire the car for the new pull-down unit.
