i have an 82 z28 with a cross fire 305. im debating on putting a 305 tune port in. but my question is will my internal electrical system work or am i gonna have to gut the car and replace it with the donor cars system (91 firebird gta). i have the complete harness, under hood and internal, gas tank and the fuel lines. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks del.

 

Pretty much the only thing the computer controls is the engine. So your interior, brake, headlights, and such can be left alone. Im pretty sure gm just spliced into the cpu wiring to get info for the gauges.

 

so should i just replace the computer and conect the harnes on the drivers side at the fuse panel.
