Need help with power seats

OKay so I got my 4th gen seats installed and the driver side I am going from manual to power. I figured out that I need to ground the black wire and hook up the orange wire to my 12v accessory fuse but how do I hook it up? I can't just stick wires into my fuse box can I? Sorry for asking a stupid question but I need to get this seat to move at least once so I can drive my car.

use something called a fuse tap, i used them when doing my friends tach install and works fine. i am sure a power seat draws some pretty good current so try to use a fuse in the block that uses like 20 amp fuse.

u kinda just crimp the fuse tap over the wire and then slid the tad over part of the fuse and put the fuse back into the block.

If you just need to move the seat once so you can drive the car, a temporary solution would be to hook it to a 12 volt battery and activate the seat until you can get the wiring straightened out.
