oil pressure sender/ fuel pump problem

The weather pack connector that goes to my oil pressure sender(above the oil filter) has the tang broken off it from age and it vibrates out sometimes. This causes my fuel pump to stop and my car shuts off once the carb runs out of gas. My question is should I bypass it and just connect the fuel pump leads togther?, or should I get a new weather pack connector? That sounds like the better solution to me, but does anyone know where I can get one from?

Go to a junkyard or sometimes the pepboys has them in stock.

If you have a guage the AC Delco plug part # is PT 121. That is for 3 wire systems that use a fuel pump switch in the oil sender. I use a place on the net called expressparts. The Pep knockoffs don't hold up well under temp.
