Can I install an autostart system with existing alarm w/o disabling VATS???
Just like it says fellas, have an 89 IROC with an aftermarket alarm. Keeping that installed, but also wanna add an auto start someone gave me for xmas. Can I do this without disabling VATs all together? I have heard alota guys talk about VATS saving their cars from being stolen so I would like to keep it! Thanks fellas

Vehicle Anti Theft System... the chip in the key. Without the correct resistance the VATS module will not allow power to the starter I believe.
