i was wondering if anyone had a idea as to what my problem is my fuel guage stays at full it started like a month ago when i was screwing around doing a burn out and it caught on and it did it then i took the fuse panel off and just moved things and it started to work again well it happend again the other day while i was doing a burn out and i cant get it to work again this time any ideas

i have a 86 trans am with a 305 tpi if that helps at all

 

your probably grounding out a wire above the rear axel that goes to your gas tank. climb under there and tape up that wire.

 

but that dont explain why when it did it the first time and i screwed with stuff in the fuse box it fixed the problem. but i will give it a try this weekend. if anyone else has any imput i could really use it. thanks
