Fuel Gauge Seems To Stick. Normal 3rd Gen prob?

New to the site, so this is my hello . Let me start by saying all the gauges in my Bird work/look great. It seems to me that the fuel gauge loves to stay a little bit above half tank, then drops down suddenly after alot of driving. I've heard of Third-Gen F-bodies having sticky fuel gauges and I'm wondering if there has been a quick home or aftermarket fix for this so it will read more accurate. Thanks for all replies.

My fuel gauge jumps back and forth. When accelerating in can go from 1/2 tank to almost full and when braking it goes to almost empty.

I think this is an American car phenomena, because my Camry stays pretty still even when on a hill or accelerating.

It's mainly due to the triangular shape of the gas tank.

im aware of the fuel sloshing around during driving/braking.
my problem is that the fuel gage will stay, say at 1/2 tank for a while, then all of a sudden it will drop down to less than 1/4 tank.
