have a 89 camaro. am having a vats problem and need the wireing diagram. any help will be helpful.

I may be wrong, but I had a Vats problem a while back, and theres only 2 wires associated with it as far as I know. Theres a white one and an orange one, both coming out of the ignition to a plug. My wires came out and I had to get a new ignition, but while I was waiting for the part to come in, I simply took the resistance from the key and put in a pot between the 2 wires at the plug and I was able to start the car.
