Wire part numbers depend on the year of your car(which you don't mention), the color you want(if more than one is offered), and the wire style(8mm Heli-Core or 8.5mm Super Conductors).
Since your Camaro has the 350, it's at least a 1987(unless you dropped-in the 350 yourself), so you'd need a wire set with the separate ignition coil, which will be identified as 1988+(HEI). Check out www.jegs.com Their people should be able to help you with the correct set number.
It's been awhile since I looked at coils, but I'm thinking Hypertech's makes about 53,000 volts, and MSD's makes 48,000. There's also Crane's, which makes over 60,000(though they use a percentage-over-stock number rather than a voltage number). Each is good, so I guess it depends how much power you want or need.

Yeah i ordered the msd 8.5mm Super Conductors and the part number was msd-31839 from summit that's for a 5.0L and they wont fit at all. Those are the red thick wires. Im looking for super conductors but for a 88 5.7L TPI engine it dont matter what color as long as they are super conductors

Ok i looked in jegs, there are some for corvette 350 TPI 84-91, and some for Caprice, Camaro, Monte Carlo 88-Up, but those are the ones i bought for my car on summit and came out to be the wrong ones. So any advice on which to get would help

Hmm, 31839 that you've got should be the wires for your car. There shouldn't be any difference between the 305 and 350 as far as wire sets go providing each have the same HEI ignition set-up.
I have the same set in black(31833) on my '87 5.0, and they fit perfectly! I think they fit even better than the stock wires did. The lengths are a bit shorter than stock, but I think that's why they fit better. So it's important to be sure you've got the correct wire to each plug.
The wire set for the '84-'91 Corvette might work, but I dunno. They're HEI style too. But since they're a different part number, wire lengths are probably different--probably because of different obstacles under a Vette's hood. So you might be taking a chance ordering those.
Sorry I can't help more. The set you have should be the one for your car. Maybe the one you have is a fluke. Perhaps you could get them switched for another.

i dont understand why a wire wouldnt fit, that doesnt make sence unless your talking about the length...but still the 305 and 350 are the same in almost every aspect. i used all my 305 brackets on my new 350. all the same stuff

hmmm im unsure of the part # i just browsed the catolog for you and was leaning on the 88 and up wires but they were the # you said didnt fit. best bet is to call jegs and tell them you need wires and give them the year make model. i forget which ones i got but it said 305 350 SB chevy right on the box so i grabbed em and they fit perfect. youll spend about 55-60 bucks for the msd wires, thats what i paied. 100 bucks is nuts-o for msd wires
