T/A headlights, Something Not Right
My problem is this, recently, my headlights have not been poping up when I hit the switch nor are the headlights coming on. After a few tries, the lights pop up and the lights come on, but while driving, all of a sudden the lights go off and the headlights stay up. The motors are basically new, no stripped gears or nothing. Would the relays cause this stuff to happen? I have searched and found others with similar problems, but nothing like this. PLease help!

You're right, I haven't heard this one yet, lol. The difference here is that your lights go out.
You say the motors are fairly new, so that would mean it's electrical. And since I don't think relay problems affect the lights coming on, then I'd say it's switch-related. I don't think the relays will make the lights go up or down if no "on" or "off" signal is received. And that seems to be what's happening here.
It's just a guess though, but it makes sense--to me anyway, lol.

Does anyone know anything about this, I don't really want to spend a fortune for a mechanic to give me a puzzled look if it is something I can fix myself. Help me Please if possible!

underneath the dash(drivers side) where the annoying noise is for when u leave your lights on when the car is off theres another fuse box behind it. you have to unplug the little black box that makes the noise then its visible.

That sounds like a switch problem. My friends 82 used to do that, but we changed the headlight switch and now it works great.
I may have one for sale that has only been used for about 6 months, it's 3 years old, but my car has been down for that long. I just need to find it in the garage.
