what does it mean when my oil light comes on?!?

The sensor senses low oil pressure. I wouldnt drive it very far like that.

Axle/Gears: 3.27 Aussie 9 Bolt
Get yourself a oil pressure gauge and hook it up in place of the stock pressure sending unit. It's a gold can on the driver's side of the distributor.
Start the car and see what it reads. If you're reading around 30-40psi, you're fine and the sending unit needs to be replaced. If you're reading really low, you might have to replace the oil pump.

take heed or youll blow the engine. not pretty, i did that on my 88 GTA. i wish i had an oil light on that
