Car doesnt turn on when key is "ON"
Ok, just swapped in a LT1 and tried to test the wiring out tonight. Brand new fresh Delphi battery. Headlights work, gauge lights work with headlights on, dome light works, all accessory lights work.
I triple checked all fuses and that isnt the problem. When I turn the key to on, it seems the PCM is not getting power.
My service engine soon light does not come on, nothing as far as gauge power other than lights when I turn the headlights on.
Fuel pump does not prime either. I have checked all the power going to the distribution block and all cables are getting power. I double and triple checked the chassis ground and that is good.
It seems my problem is the ingition switch is not giving the car power because the starter works fine. I can crank the car but PCM does not have power. I wired the pink wire from the C100 straight to the power distribution. Im not sure if this is how it should be done. Is there any secret fuse or relay im missing here? Already checked the fuse on the passenger side fender, that was good.
Any ideas why the ignition switch is not giving out power?

Have you checked the 20 AMP fuse in the engine compartment. If it is blown, there is no power to the ECM (PCM). You will be able to crank the car and have headlights but no fuel pump and the service engine light will not come on.

Already said I did. But the coil is not getting juice. Wait. It seems I bypassed that and just ran that straight to power, oops. Where does each end of the fuse plug end up at?

Okay, assuming you have the original computer in there. The fuse goes from Pin "B1" & "C16" of the ECM and goes to pin "E" of the fuel pump relay and the oil pressure switch. Pins "B1" &"C16" are the 12 volt battery source for the ECM.

But is it confirmed that the pink ignition wire from the c100 goes to the power distirbution or does this go to the ignition switch on the pcm? Thanks again trickster.

Okay Pasky,
As you can see by this picture, there are two pink wires at the C100 bulkhead connector. One is at Pin "C7" and goes to the wiper/washer, the other one is at Pin "F4" from ignition to electronic spark timing. Hope this helps.

I think you spliced into the wrong wire. The wire at Pin "F4" at the C100 connector comes from the ignition switch and goes to Pin "B" of the EST. Pin "A" of the same connector on the EST goes to the TACH.
