89 to 91 fan relay wiring
my 89 TBI 305 was bought with a relay missing. i thought it was a fuel pump relay but it may be a fan relay. the markings are EADCF on the top of the realy ? like i said the plug is cut off. i have found a 91 relay and plug and want to install it but the wire colors do not match. the car has a thick red , thick purple, thin orange , thin tan/white, and thin green/white wires. does anyone know which wire coming from my car corresponds to the EACDF that are on the plug? 91 harness has (A) red, (F) black, (E) purplr, (D) orange with (C) empty

No, my 89 does not have daytime lights. I'm not sureif the 91 had them or not. i have not been able to find any 89s in a junk yard in my area. i rather not re-wire the whole car. does anyone know where to get repair harnesses or plugs for harnesses?
Not DRL's. I meant the clear driving lights (most call them fog lights but real fog lights have amber lenses)
Hate to say it but if your dealer can't get the harness you need you'll probably have to get it from a junkyard.

Found a repir harness company
finally found a repair harness company. autobodysupplies.com
they have almost every GM harness plug and relay that is on the car. repair harness cost $23 plus $7 to ship brand new, not from a junkyard
