If i did the battery relocation to the trunk ? The old harness had one going to the alternator i think..... Right now i have grounded the battery and run positive to the starter.
The alternator is what recharges your battery. I would say maybe.
Also, don't forget the ignition switch. Can't turn on the car without that.

Now that i look at it i think that only applies if you connect the positive cable to the EXHISTING battery cable, so i will have to run one to the battery because i didnt want to have more wiring than necessary.........
You can run one wire from the battery to the engine bay, but it has to be split to the starter, the alternator, and the ignition switch. That's how it is on my car, anyway.
Or in your case, just attach it to the existing wiring.

We used one of those stereo splitters with 2 Gauge in and multiple 4 gauge outs and hooked up the alternator, starter, ignition, PCM, and fans to it.
One day this summer I am going to re-wire his car so that the main power goes to the starter and then branches off of that.
Oh, and don't forget to run a thick chassis to motor ground wire either. A lot of people forget to do that when they relocate the battery.
