Hatch release solenoid
After my T56 swap, the hatch release solenoid does not work. I assume it has something to do with the car thinking it is not in park or neutral, like you needed with the automatic to pop the hatch. Does anyone know what I can do?

Hello Colonboy14,
Let me see if I explain this in an understandable manner here. In the first picture that I post here, you will see a couple of items circled and one with an "X". The top circled item is the hatch release switch and two wire harness, the second one is the connector that has a dark green/white wire coming from pin "F" of the Park/Neutral switch. The item marked with an "X" is the connector that goes to the Parking brake switch. It has a tan/white wire. To make the hatch release work, you need to take the dark green/white wire that connected to the Park/Neutral switch and run a splice off the tan/white wire going to the Parking Brake switch. In this fashion, to open the hatch. My understanding of this is that the Parking Brake lever must be pulled to the first detent. I hope you can understand this, if not give me a holler.
