Okay, besides the fact I have to get my hands on a compression gauge so I can set the valves properly, I got a new problem on my hands. After a valve adjustment two days ago, I go to try to start the engine, which of course don't start because it hates me... but more to the point, I hear a cracking noise and the SES light and HVAC don't work any more. I turn everything off and try it again, and after three or so tries it works again, and this time I want to try to find out why the blower don't work on "Low" speed setting. So I leave the ign on and go investigate whether the blower is actually running very slowly or not, and whatever goes out again, this time for good. The biggest problem I have with this is that the noise seemed to come from the relay center in the corner of the engine compartment, and from the fuel pump relay especially. Pull the relay and check the terminal connections and everythings peachy, same with all of the fuses (including the two in the engine compartment) and the fusible links. I don't get it...
How am I supposed to start the engine with no ECM?
