Power Door Locks Almost Work

If the power door locks try to operate, but don't seem to pull hard enough to unlock or lock the doors, where and what could be the problem? I push the buttons, and they all work. The locks sound like they've operated, but they never do. I can sit and watch the lock button, and it just will barely move, as if the motor isn't strong enough to do it's job.

Trickster? Anyone? A pre-emptive you rock .... thanks

I fixed mine.
I lubed up the assembly on the inside of the door with silicone lube.

If you pull off the door panel, you can see where the locking motor is as well as the rods and the mechanical assembly. I just lubed up all the moving parts in the assembly and now both door locks work perfect.

I had the same problem on my 1989 firebird. All I had to do was rip off the door pannell, then I sprayed the lock mechanism and solinoid with WD-40. Then I manually locked and unlocked the door, and after this the door lock worked fine.
