Digital ignition hookup Q's???
I have a holley annihilator ignition system and holley lasershot pro coil that I'm in the process of hooking up.
The instructions only provide the hookup directions for my car if I buy there $20 wire adapter for my 7 pin module. I cannot find any scematics anywhere on what needs to be done, but I have however found some pictures.
Can someone tell me if this is right?
1. Leave plugs intact on distributor, do not cut them off of the harness. Just splice into them.
2. splice blk/red and ppl/wht together, and hook that up to the WHITE wire on the control box. It specifies the white wire as points/ignition amplifier. This makes sense, because these are Reference and Reference Low. If I tie them together like I suspect the $20 harness does, will that hurt anything?
3. splice white and tan/blk together, and hook that up to the RED on the control box. I'm a little confused on this as well, because it lists small red as the switched power lead. These wires are EST and EST bypass. How could those trigger my ignition box to turn on? I was under the impression that these are negative trigger wires.
I found a schematic of the ignition module circuit that I'll include.
By tying those wires together, that won't throw a code? If I disconnected those wires from the ECM completely and let the holley control spark advance, won't that throw a code?
What should I do?!?
Thanks guys

The four wire connector it is probably talking about is the 2 white and 2 red wires that go to the two plugs on the factory coil!
If you could find out for sure Dave, I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks
