Temp Guage not working

All the gauges in my Camaro function with the exception of my temperature guage, any ideas where to start looking for the problem?

possibly the sensor in your thermostat housing is shot, or disconnected. or the wires might have been pinched. also your gauge might be shot that is all about it.

It is connected on the block, but I need to check the sensor in the thermostat housing.

Sensor in intake manifold is Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) and sends signal to ECM only. Sensor for the temperature gauge on dash is located near #1 spark plug on drivers side, has a single wire connector that slides on and falls off easily.
