Power Door Locks only work when doors are closed

Whats going on? My Power Door Locks only work when my doors are closed.

Has this been a recent occurrance and do you have an alarm system in the car with a remote switch.

yes, this just started happening and I do have an an alarm system with keyless entry.

First thing to check would be the wires going from the car to the door. Just imagine how many times those wires have been flexed in the last 15 years.
