L.e.d taillight bulbs suck

For you guys thinking about it don't do it i just threw $20 down the drain bought 2 bulbs at auto zone and they look like crap on my 82 trans am.I installed the freaking $20 bulbs on one side only,Just to test how they look.Well they look lik two red dots not the full square light in each box of the taillight.$20 down the drain.Just thought id save you guys from throwing hard earned money away.

Apparently, the ones <i>you</i> bought sucked...There are many different types of them available for different applications.
What exactly did you purchase? There is no AutoZone around here, so I don't know what they carry...
How many individual LED's were in the bulb housing?
