so its been a year since the engine went in. took out the 150 hp 305 from my SC camaro and replaced it with a 350 bored .60 with a lot of goodies...engine and chassy here my question. i have these light blue and white/greenish wires coming out of the harness on the drivers side. i have no idea wtf they do. there were a few others that were brown and other dark colors that i yanked out but i'd really like to know what these do before i pull them. the car starts and runs pretty good and the lights work also. i stripped out everything i didn't need like EMO stuff and other electrical things. i went with a carbed engine and aftermarket ignition etc. i was thinking they are the horn wires but it looks like the horn is plugged it, can't test it though because the steering wheel is off. i think i'm going to wire up a seperate button for the horn anyhow

anyone have any ideas what these wires do? the car WAS an 86 camaro, 305 electronic controlled quadrajet engine. the comp has been removed.....

 

Just a stab here.... the light blue is either your choke heater (went wayside w/the q-jet) or your Lh turn signal. White - tach, Light green - high beam lamps.
The horn will be a dark green wire.

 

well the lights and blinkers are in their own harness coming from the firewall so i know its nothing to do with lights. if 1 is the tach then i can yank that. and if the blue goes wit hthe Q then i'm deff pulling that1 lol. i'll have to look again and varify the colors. sounds like i can pull them though.
